If You Are Pregnant, You Must Read This Book
Posted in Pregnancy on 08. Sep, 2009

During my first and second pregnancies, I don’t think anyone saw me with my hands free. (Of course during the second pregnancy, it was because I was carrying around a toddler, but that’s beside the point.) I was constantly reading The Girlfriends’ Guide To Pregnancy, by Vicki Iovine. I devoured this book with as much intensity as I devoured my daily chocolate donut, only I would wager that the book did me more good than the donuts. For me, reading this book was like having a one of my best friends pull me aside and give me the real scoop on what it’s like to be pregnant. Sure, there are plenty of books out there on pregnancy, but this one feels like you are hearing it from a trusted friend’s perspective. The author’s humor, wit and charm made even morning sickness entertaining, and I absolutely loved this book.

My sister, Cammi, got this book for me when I was pregnant with my first child. I LOVED IT! Great recommendation.
