		<description>For Christmas last year we got my son a football helmet... it came with an outfit that was too big for him. I saved it back from the present and now for this year it&#039;ll be his costume. For my younger son (9 mths) I&#039;m getting a brown onesie, brown shorts (we live where it&#039;s hot!) then gluing on white ribbon for laces on his chest/belly and he&#039;ll be a... football :) To go with the football player :)

I really don&#039;t like the premade costumes, it seems to lose the creativity and fun that can come with Halloween!

However when he was younger I bought his one piece outfits off craigslist... $5 for a frog and the next year $5 for a black cat! So glad I did, because last year he didn&#039;t get to be the black cat... he was sick instead :(

I think the Halloween costume exchange playdate sounds like a fabulous idea!!</description>
