I saved it back from the present and now for this year it'll be his costume. For my younger son (9 mths) I'm getting a brown onesie, brown shorts (we live where it's hot!) then gluing on white ribbon for laces on his chest/belly and he'll be a... football :) To go with the football player :) I really don't like the premade costumes, it seems to lose the creativity and fun that can come with Halloween! However when he was younger I bought his one piece outfits off craigslist... $5 for a frog and the next year $5 for a black cat! So glad I did, because last year he didn't get to be the black cat... he was sick instead :( I think the Halloween costume exchange playdate sounds like a fabulous idea!!
